What is a Time Allocation Contract?

Our innovative Time Allocation (TA) Contracts enable you to benefit from our experienced IT systems engineers or Data Management Specialists, for project work or continuous support.

We’ve designed our TA support to provide you with a flexible, pre-paid call off system allowing you direct and rapid access to a vast array of IT and system skills the moment you need it.  All you do is purchase the hours that you require on a monthly basis, with any unused hours rolling on to the following month.

The Time Allocation Contract that Eurotech offer can be used in a number of ways…
For example TA Contracts can be:

…Provided to customers who require Eurotech to complete the installation and integration of solutions.  It covers the man hours needed to install the solution and can be used to provide customer support for the solution while it’s properly integrated in to the customer environment.

…Used to provide on-going support to customers with a flexible approach to IT system maintenance, installation, product and solution support.

…Used to obtain IT resources from Eurotech on an ad-hoc or contract basis.

  • Data Management, support and advice in using most of the oil and gas industries major applications and databases, such as Landmark Openworks, Schlumberger GeoFrame, Recall, SMT-Kingdom, etc..

TA Contracts in Action…

Recently one of our customers’ has had ongoing issues with an SQL server – the main problem being performance, with staff complaining that a specific company application was very slow and causing disruption to the day-to-day business tasks. Eurotech were approached to see if we could provide the expertise to troubleshoot and resolve the performance issues as quickly as possible. Using a methodical approach, we were able to identify that there wasn’t a suitable quick fix and provided a consultant to attend site to troubleshoot further. Our consultant was able to identify issues with the server configuration and system environment. He made the necessary changes improving overall performance by 10x the speed and was also able to identify further improvements that could be carried out on the system. Eurotech received a very positive response from the customer, who is now reviewing the recommendations and will engage Eurotech to carry out the necessary work.

 

Terms of Eurotech IT Services Time Allocation Contracts…

  • Minimum 4 hours per month for 1 year.
  • 8-hour ‘call-out’ Monday to Friday during office hours.
  • Single point of contact at Eurotech guaranteed for site familiarity and operational efficiency.
  • Customer report ticketing and remote facilities.
  • Travel expenses included.
