Eurotech is a people business. Since we do not manufacture anything the value we bring to our customers is purely through the knowledge, insight, experience and customer service ethic of the people we employ.
Bernie Boyce is a veteran of the IT industry, originally coming from a hardware engineering background he was one of the original co-founders of Eurotech. Bernie is now the sole owner of Eurotech and has grown the business over the last 17 years using his unique business acumen and his desire to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction. With his background Bernie is also at the forefront of technical innovation within Eurotech.
Gerald Sommariva has been in the IT industry since leaving full time education (Computer Science) for some 28 years and progressed his career with a number of vendors including Computer Automation, Gould SEL and Convex. Throughout his career he has focused on leading edge technologies, either in the High Performance Computing, Storage or Networking space.
George Prior manages a wide breadth of customer’s relationships with a key focus on storage and high performance computing. Having been a user himself in a technical capacity it allows him to be extremely customer centric, able to understand a companies need for creative and yet stable solutions that deliver tangible value.
Marcos Vera is a Senior Technical Solutions Architect. He has a wide area of expertise, ranging from Data Centres designs, High Performance Computing, Data Security, Fabric and Ethernet Networks and Storage integration. He currently runs Eurotech’s pre and post technical sales.
Shpresa Gjini, Financial Administrator has been with Eurotech for 4 years and has great depth of knowledge and expertise on the areas such as financing, accounting, credit control, taxation, financial analysis and ratios.
Reed Lymbourides is Eurotech’s engineering brains with over 30 years in the Information Technology market. As such he can provide practical experience on a wide range of tape devices, including 9 track, Exabyte, 3480, 3490, DLT, LTO, 3590 & 3592 from initial configuration/installation to ongoing service and repair.
Darren Biggs has been in the oil industry since 1996 after graduating in Geology and joining Petroleum Exploration Computer Consultants. He started Geodata Management Ltd in 1998 and then subsequently headed GTS-Geotech’s data management department. At the start of 2006 he joined Eurotech as Geoscience Services Manager and has since managed the Geoscience group's growth to over 20 E&P IT, Data Management and Information Management consultants.
Tony Klapcia is responsible for developing and growing Eurotech’s Enterprise business. Tony joined Eurotech after many years working for Global technology manufacturers such as Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for developing storage and data management business streams across EMEA. He has also held senior roles within organisations providing Global datacentre and outsourcing services.
