Voice of the Voiceless Childrens Charity

7th June 2017

Franz Esser (Eurotech Strategic Business Manager) and his son Michael (aged 13) will soon be undertaking a challenge to raise money for charity: They’ll be travelling 1000km from east to west across the Pyrenees mountains (separating France and Spain) in a solo 4×4 journey. For the duration of the 10-day trip (between 10th – 20th June) they will be fully self-sufficient in terms of food, fuel, shelter and water.

The objective of the trip is to help raise £2,000 for Voice of the Voiceless, a charity supporting marginalised and underprivileged youth in the Western Cape region (South Africa), providing education, life skills training and food.

Franz explained, “What I would like to do is raise funds to help VoV to secure a vehicle to enable them to safely transport the children from school to the youth centre they are using and also back home again afterwards. This would allow them to extend the reach of their ministry to help more young boys to improve their grades and raise their prospects later in life instead of falling into a life of crime.”

Franz has created a website and blog to track progress. Join the journey – www.goodpurpose.life
